Laguna Phuket Golf Club has postponed the full redesign and renovation of its current 18 hole layout until further notice

The master plan will consist of a complete rebuild of the golf course, including new kiosks and a new clubhouse.

We hope to minimize any inconvenience by retaining 9 holes open for play at all times.

1. With the addition of the new piece of land where the new clubhouse including holes 1 & 18 will be relocated, the overall size of the golf club footprint will increased by 13 rai.


2. The course will increase by 363 Yards in length once completed and play at 7,017 Yards from the back tees.


3. The par of the course once completed will go from a 71 to a par 72.


4. There will be an increase of 2 rai of lake mass to increase both water storage capacity and the challenge to golfers.


5. 8 of the original 18 holes will maintain the same footprint as they have now. 11 holes will be completely changed.


6. All holes will be given a complete aesthetic makeover from the ground up including larger more undulating greens.


7. The Clubhouse once completed, will have a swimming pool, tennis courts, gymnasium, a raised Café area over looking the 18 green and a host of other amenities.


8. A shuttle will provide a service between the new hole 9 kiosk and the new clubhouse for those playing only 9 holes.


9. Project completion date is the first half of December 2010.


10. Once the new Clubhouse is complete, the Driving Range will be relocated to that area.
